Hello Folks
After the highly successful workshops run by Rommi Smith and Helen MacDonald last month we are now set to bring you a couple more in August this time looking at Silk Screen Printing on Sat 15th August and printing / collaging and multiples on 22nd August. For more details on these check the Listings part of this site.

In September we will be bringing you an exhibition in collaboration with somethingvisual, currently looking after the exhibition space at St John the Evangelist on New Briggate. This will be a selection of around 20 recent Graduates from LCA&D, LMU and UoL.

As we head into the back end of the year we will be looking at one of this years hot topics with the Yorkshire Sculpture Group - Natural Selection will be a dozen or so artists response to Darwin's 'Origin of Species' with the added bonus of being presented in such a resonant space as Holy trinity Church.

The first day of winter (Oct 25th) will see an exhibition dedicated to the subject of time, what it means to people and how it affects them. Featuring work by myself, Richard Taylor and Kimbal Bumstead all of whom are familiar with what it means to exhibit at Trinity with more recent recruit Stuart Childs whose incredible sound piece, which he will be presenting here, made it on to Radio 4's Today Programme last year. More on this nearer the time Until then

Hi there folks some big news for fans of improv music out there in Leeds. ARTS@TRINITY will be hosting, begining on March 21st, the first in what we hope will be an ongoing series of improv nights.

The aim is to bring together improvising musicians from across the genres under one roof for one night each month. We hope to promote the spirit of collaboration amongst the participants and see what develops there over time. Over the coming months we will also be linking the improv night, to be called NEBULA, with the FUSELEEDS FESTIVAL, in April, and hopefully some kind of run in with the Film Fest later on in the year. Go and check out the details of March's NEBULA event over in the listings section where there is also a link to a Facebook site to which you can subscribe for monthly updates on the acts being confirmed for each event. There will also be a Myspace coming soon as well - more details on that when it is up and running.

We shall also be hosting a gig on Feb 18th by New Zealand improv musician ALNA COURTIS - for more info on this go to the listings page on this site.

And Don't forget BELA EMERSON on Feb 20th.
